You love your dog, but their behaviour is driving you bonkers.

Do you want to live a more harmonious life with your dog, but feel stuck on where to start?

There is a lot of conflicting, misleading, and even dangerous advice on how to train dogs. Through proven positive reinforcement methods, I’ll help you teach your dog skills for success.

An ethical and evidence-based behaviour approach:

Many dogs struggle with big feelings about our human world, and our human expectations for their behaviour. We’ll pinpoint sources of stress in your dog’s life and make a plan to relieve tension where we can.

Reduce Stress

The more your dog repeats an unwanted behaviour, the more habitual that behaviour becomes. Together, we’ll make a strategy to proactively prevent your dog from practicing problem behaviour.

Manage Problem Behaviour

A lot of problem behaviour is actually natural behaviour, simply performed on an inappropriate outlet. We’ll brainstorm the natural activities your dog enjoys performing, and come up with appropriate outlets to meet their needs.

Meet Your Dog’s Needs

We can’t just stop behaviours we don’t like. We have to replace them with new behaviours that help our dog get the same need met. Training together will teach your dog how to get what they want a little more politely.
